The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) brings partners together to support innovative programs that make New York City healthier for all.
Since our founding in 2002, we’ve secured more than $450 million to support over 400 projects that impact the lives of New Yorkers. These new and creative projects have a profound impact on the health and wellbeing of over 8.5 million New York City residents.
Epidemics spread rapidly and impact many lives. When facing an epidemic, such as COVID-19, we must be able to act quickly and creatively to ensure all New Yorkers can thrive. FPHNYC continues to fight the spread of existing and new epidemics through its innovative model.
Healthy Mothers & Babies
Bringing a new life into the world should be a joyful experience, but for many across NYC, pregnancy and childbirth can be fraught with dangerous health challenges. FPHNYC partners with the Health Department to address maternal health disparities and inequality, ensuring happier healthier lives for new families.
