We all benefit from public health. Health makes it possible for us to live, learn, work, and play. The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) works to promote healthy behaviors, educate communities, and combat the spread of infectious diseases. Through these actions, we can reduce inequality and improve the health of all New Yorkers.
FPHNYC was created in 2002 as an independent nonprofit organization with the purpose of connecting the NYC Health Department to private sector partners and the greater philanthropic community.
Since our founding in 2002, we’ve raised more than $500 million in public and private funding for nearly 440 projects, making New York City healthier and safer for all.
The FPHNYC team is made up of experienced and compassionate public health professionals, advocates, project managers, and administrators.
FPHNYC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. Come join our team!
