Now more than ever, we must invest in public health.
2020 has made it clear that ongoing investment and engagement in public health is essential. We’ve accomplished so much this year, but our work cannot stop, and we need to work together to ensure all New Yorkers have the opportunity to thrive and live their healthiest lives.
Your support has helped us accomplish so much. Together, we:
- Supported new technologies that help the Health Department better track and respond to COVID threats
- Ensured continuity of essential programs addressing substance use disorder, supporting isolated seniors, and serving mothers and babies
- Helped launch Get the Good Stuff, the nation’s only electronic nutrition incentive program that includes frozen, canned and dried fruits, vegetables, and beans in addition to fresh produce
Contributions in support of the Fund for Public Health in NYC (FPHNYC) will not affect any current or pending business before the City of New York or provide special access to any City official. Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent of the law. FPHNYC is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, Federal ID (05-0539199).
NEW: As a part of the “Universal Deduction” from the CARES Stimulus Act, you are now able to claim a new, additional, “above-the-line” deduction of up to $300 for cash donations you make to charity this year.
